The Administrative Justice Tribunal of Nuevo León has disqualified two former officials of former San Pedro Mayor Miguel Treviño de Hoyos for various serious administrative violations in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works.
The Specialized Section on Administrative Matters issued a resolution disqualifying the former Director of Costs and Financial Control, Brenda Lucero Domínguez; as well as the former Director of Projects and Construction, Héctor Hinojosa Hernández. Both were collaborators of Treviño during his 2018-2021 term.
According to the resolution, Brenda Domínguez is accused of illicit enrichment and conflict of interest, derived from the omission of declaring relevant patrimonial information and the accreditation of an unjustified increase in assets in relation to legally received income. For this, her disqualification was for one year.
On the other hand, Héctor Hinojosa was accused of bribery. The resolution mentions the intervention of the public official in the authorization of payments in favor of a contracting company, which made transfers to a legal entity linked to himself, generating an improper personal economic benefit.
